Hello Readers,

Happy new year! We hope that 2023 is off to a great start for all of you. You may have noticed that we’ve been really busy promoting books over the last few weeks.

There happened to be a backlog of books that were waiting to be released and we finally pushed through the process and got them into the world. So now what?

Well, now that we’ve caught up on releasing those books, it’s time to sit back and evaluate what we’ve learned throughout this process.

Over the next two months, we will be releasing a series of posts to discuss what we went through to get those books written, illustrated, published, and distributed. We’ll write about the decisions we made during this process, why we made them, and some of the mistakes we made along the way.

Keep in mind, though, that just because we decided to do something one way doesn’t guarantee that it’s the best way. Our goal with this blog and our business is to simply share our knowledge and help other authors and illustrators navigate self-publishing a little easier and faster than we did the first time.

What can you expect from us in the following posts?

Here’s the outline and what we expect to cover:

  1. Introduction
  2. ISBNs and Imprints
  3. Copyrights
  4. Publishing, Book Printing, Distribution
  5. Making Money / Supporting Artists

So follow us here, on Facebook, or LinkedIn to make sure you get notified as these posts are released. We hope you enjoy these posts and, as always, feel free to contact us with questions!
